HOW DO WE GET THERE?
We recommend you use public transport. Catch a Belgrave/Lilydale train to Glenferrie Station and walk about 300m to the ground.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Entry is free. But please bring a donation for Make-A-Wish.
IS CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?
Parking is limited. Some free parking will be available in the Glenferrie Oval car park to the West of the ground. Enter from Linda Cres. Or there is ample free parking in the Coles car park at the East of the ground.
WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
The game will start at 2pm and is likely to finish at about 4pm.
WILL THERE BE SEATING?
No. But you’re welcome to bring a seat if you don’t wish to stand.
Beatbox Kitchen will be at the ground on the day serving Hamburgers and tasty treats.
Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch and a blanket if you wish. There will be plenty of grass to sit on.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Unfortunately there will be no access to covered areas at Glenferrie Oval. If rain is forecast, please bring wet weather gear.

WILL THERE BE COMMENTARY?
Yes. There will be a commentary team. You’ll hear it through speakers at the ground.
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS?
Yes. We’re happy for you to take photos, video, etc.
CAN WE HAVE A KICK ON THE GROUND?
Yes. Bring a footy and have a kick at quarter time, half time and three quarter time.
(Both teams will require access to the ground before the game for warming up)

The Robert Hunter Cup Commentary Team will include Suffa from the Hilltop Hoods, Trials from the Funkoars, Bias B, Dedlee and more.
Robert Hunter Cup Day on Goonbag radio starts at 11am with Nevs and Bind live from Glenferrie Oval. They’ll give you a wrap up of the AUS ALL STARS show, as well as play music from the artists.
Then at 1pm, The Robert Hunter Cup Commentary Team take over with a preview of the big game. They’ll also speak to players from both teams.

2011 saw the passing of one of Australian Hip-Hop’s favourite sons – Robert Hunter (MC Hunter) who passed away after a long public battle with cancer. He will forever be remembered for his music, his passion for Australian Hip-Hop and his love for his two favourite football teams: the Fremantle Dockers and the East Perth Royals.
October 20th will see the anniversary of his passing. To mark the occasion, we have put together a weekend dedicated to Hunter and his love of music and footy.
THE ROBERT HUNTER CUP WEEKEND will take place in Melbourne on October 20th and 21st.
Australian Hip-Hop artists and Hunter fans from all over the country will unite to witness and take part in an unprecedented event.
