Where Did The Idea Come From?

Shortly after his passing, Melbourne MC Bias B organized a wake for Hunter’s friends in a park next to Melbourne’s MCG. It was a great day with a BBQ, a quiet drink and an impromptu game of ‘kick to kick.’ It was at this moment the idea of The Robert Hunter Cup was born. But most of all, everyone who attended had a similar feeling of solidarity. We believe we can re-capture that feeling with this weekend.

Who Are The Organisers?

A four person organising committee of Bias B, Dedlee, Heata and Stewbakka were assembled immediately after the wake. We have all been working behind the scenes to put all aspects of the weekend together. We have all strived to make sure that the weekend will be fun, respectful and a memorable occasion. And we are honoured to have the blessing of Hunter’s family, as well as the SBX crew.
